Let me tell you a story about following Intuition and how I met Ela. I’m hangin’ out with my friend Greg, not long ago...we went out for lunch and wound up at Ikea afterwards. Greg truly loves Ikea, one of his favorite places. He wanted to get more lighting for his music studio (he’s on his way to becoming famous soon). I like hangin’ out with him at Ikea, it’s the only way I’ll go there. We got there at the busiest time too. I really had no intention of buying anything or so I thought.
We looked at the lighting and Greg got what he needed. We wandered around a bit longer when the thought hit me that I needed bed sheets and a pillow for school (Body Therapy-massage class). Looks like I was headed towards a purchase here. I found what I needed. So off to the long lines we went…as we stood there talking, I looked over and noticed a huge bin filled with various stuffed animals.
An elephant caught my eye and immediately a thought (one of those loud ones too) said,
“Buy the elephant”.
“What the hell am I gonna do with an elephant? I wouldn't even be buyin’ these sheets and pillow if it weren’t for school. My kid is grown, in college, no kids at home. Why buy something like that? I don’t need a stuffed animal.”
Those were some of my rational thoughts. I even said to Greg, ‘something’s telling me to buy that elephant’. I tried to shrug the thought and continued my conversation with him. But my eyes went right back to this elephant…
”Pick it up. Hold it in your hand.”
“Nope, not gonna happen.”
“Go on, pick it up.”
Ah geez, I had to go and pick it up. An instant connection happened. It felt so right holding too. Lightweight and soooo cute.
“You need a bag for school don’t you?”
“Um, yeah I do. But I already have a bag in mind at home.”
“This will be your bag.”
“What!?”
“Buy it.”
After a brief scuffle with my rational thoughts and Intuition, guess who won? Well, I agreed and rolled with Intuition. As soon as I did and let go, a flood of images and ideas overwhelmed me. It was intense to say the least. I tried to describe to Greg what I was visualizing, but somehow my descriptions did not come across too well.
There was no pattern, and no directions on how to go about making this bag. But I did not back down. I knew that help was there. Why else would Intuition come a knockin’ without giving help too? The proof was in the images that came to me. All I had to do was ask and follow the leads. As the leads came, and morphed into more efficient prompts and thought patterns, my elephant bag was born. I’m so happy with this creation! She’s PERFECT! See for yourself.

So the next time you get a hunch, a subtle thought, or a nudge…..follow it. Ya can’t go wrong with Intuition.
