WARNING!....this post may creep you out. My WIP

Boo! Happy Halloween everyone!

What better time to show you my WIP...that started a few weeks ago.

I took an awesome workshop with Michael deMeng and I gotta tell ya, it was delightful and spooky. The Island of deMented Toys was a genuine, wicked-awesome, all out righteous workshop. This was a full day class and it was so worth the wait. It poured down rain for a while. And if there were thunder and lightning, it would have been perfect for this class.

Michael was very charming and is a fantabulous artist/teacher. Courteous, with a wonderful sense of humor, no holds barred, he encouraged us all to be bold in our creations. He showed us a lot of “Oohs and Ahhhs” techniques. Would take his class again in a heart beat. There was so much to take in, take down in notes, and experimentation's. *wicked laugh*
FIVE STARS to ya Michael!

I brought so much stuff to the class and didn't use half of it! Had two projects going at once. I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the day and did not get a chance to get too far with one of my toys. I learned about mixing paints to get some amazing faux effects, how to use caulking and Apoxie clay to sculpt, and how to use some new tools that are a must have for my tool chest now.

This wonderful day ended with the clouds moving onwards and Michael on his way to Mexico.

Oh, cool. How exciting for you! And I too love the texture on your WIP that's going to be a vehicle of some kind. Anxious to see more...

Where did you take your class? I had a number of buds who were in Michael's class at Art & Soul in Portland last month, whilst I was in another important learning experience elsewhere in the building. :-)

That is SUCH a great picture of the two of you.
