Sooooo, not long ago, in February I joined a Prayer Flag swap over at
ATCsforall . The flag dimensions are 6x9", any religion, and you could make one or four of them. Well, my Muse thought it would be fun to take on this "never attempted before" project to see what I could come up with. Boy, did she send me on a wild ride, again. Long story short, there were not many players for the swap, so I sent in one flag. But I couldn't stop making them!
These are faux batik flags painted with acrylic paints, some have tabs (the first batch, with dowels.). Not too keen on this batch......

...but I do like this one a whole lot.


Some have a casing sewn on the back (second batch). The technique got better. I learned a lot about making these cute flags. What to do, what not to do. I've found a new road to travel on. More to come with these.
