Gobble, gobble day..........

A Balance In Nature

All She Ever Wanted Was Her Freedom

I do hope that it was enjoyable for you all. There is so much to be thankful for. I for one am thankful that I got to see another year pass. Times are hard and stressful for many theses days. So much so that many of us spent Thanksgiving alone. Be it by choice or otherwise. My Thanksgiving was spent alone, and I created some art. I had invites to places, but chose to be alone (no complaints).

With my daughter on the East Coast at college, and this is the first time in 18 years that I have been by myself, (shit, this is scary). Stayed in my pajamas, ate tuna and bagel sandwiches, listened to music. Got my hands messy in inks and glue, experimented with some aluminum foil and other thin metals with distress, alcohol, & StazOn inks. Created two atc's I played all day! I am thankful. My mom used to say, "make due with what ya got". I have her spirit to be thankful for too.

How ever you spent this day, the important thing is that you are here to see it. Remember that. Be in the moment.

I love Frida, and I've been admiring these cards for a while now!
