Bloggers Unite

In this day and age one would think that family is the most important. Yes, that is true. Family is very important. But around the globe there are families who are just as important that have been torn apart. Refugees. Whether it be by natural disasters, war, race, or fear of their lives for having different beliefs that are not shared in their country. They have been scattered all over the world. Bloggers Unite is a one way of getting the word out to help pull these families together again. Check out their site for more information on how you could help.

How is it that the skin we are born into leads others to persecute, rape, and kill the men women and children that are born into this world just like they were?
Families are being torn apart daily. They flee for their lives. Families are separated, and their lives are uncertain now. "Where is my child?" "Where is my mother, my father?" "What happened to my brothers and sisters?" "I am alone in this world now. I fear for my life. I am no longer wanted or needed in my country." "If I go back to look for my family, I will be killed."

Can you even fathom these thoughts? Refugees all over the world live in a fear such as this every single day. You may say "not in my backyard". But looking at it from a HUMAN perspective, this world is our backyard. You are a human being just like them. They have hopes and dreams just like you. Family, friends, loved ones, just like you. Happiness, joy, sorrow, grief, just like you. They want what is best for their family and friends, pray for their family and friends, worry about their family and friends, just like you. The difference is they displaced and in fear of their lives. They live on the run. Not knowing what the next minute will bring. We could be there too. We...could....be....there.....too. Let us help one another to heal, to bring about the changes that are needed for this world.

A prayer for those who have been displaced in this world......

May you find peace and comfort,
May you find a safe haven,
May you have hope for a new day,
May you find laughter instead of fear in you heart,
May you find your family and loved ones, safe and secure,
And may your worries be washed away by tears of happiness and rejoicing,
Because you have been UNITED with your loved ones again.

Namaste

What a lovely and beautiful thought. Yes, we are all the same inside. We just might look a pinch different on the outside, but we all love and feel just as the person next to us does.

Big hugs to you!
