The Pink Artist Drawing-Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello, hello to you all….

Today’s post is one that is on the serious side of life. But the art that has been created here, and by other gifted artists that have joined in on this project is to help raise awareness and to return some hope and happiness into the lives of those who are faced with breast cancer. All donated art is to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen for the cure.

Monica Magness over at Girl Gone Thread Wild is the hostess for The Pink Artist Drawing Part Two: Art for Breast Cancer Research! (also known as Block Party ‘09). Thank you for your hard work Monica! The art drawing begins today and runs through October 15, 2009. Go check it out! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Check out the Prize Wheel (donated art)!

To the survivors, those who are just now facing this new road, those who support the families, friends, and cause…I send healing, encouragement and blessings to you.

My donated art piece:

13x7” faux batik banner done on muslin with acrylic paints.
