Going to the Masquerade Ball.......and here she is, the last in a series of paper dolls created for JoyFlower's Mixed Media Paper Doll swap over at ATCsforall.
I wanted to make Harlequin paper doll and kinda pulled it off. Sometimes it's hard getting the idea out of my head and onto paper (I want it just like I can see it in my "minds eye"). Anyways, I cut strips of patterned paper to create her costume 'cuz I wanted to feel the texture (I'm a texture whore, I admit it). The collar and skirt are crepe paper that I sprayed with water color paint, pleated and sewn. She is poseable and stands 9" tall.

So much attention to detail, Deb, I love your new paper doll! Weaving the paper was brilliant and the stitched crepe paper is lovely. Well done! Hugs, Carol
